Financial Inclusion Manager
Full time - 35 hours/week
£25,000- £27,000 per annum dependent upon experience and qualifications

Salford Foundation, a social inclusion charity, requires a Financial Inclusion Manager to offer advice, support and advocacy to vulnerable female service users who are in challenging circumstances and are additionally experiencing problems relating to debt, budgeting and welfare benefit matters.

We are seeking a proactive individual with a good understanding of the complex needs of vulnerable service users to work directly with service users providing informed support, appropriate information and specialist advice when required. The ability to form empathic relationships with service users, communicate effectively at all levels, manage time effectively and work to targets will be essential.

The Foundation is looking to develop its financial inclusion services further with the salary for this management role at the higher end of the above scale. The Manager will be expected to oversee the quality assurance procedures for service delivery and monitor the practice of three Advisers.

The successful candidate will have recent experience of providing debt/welfare advice and if wishing to be considered for the management role ideally have operated in a management/quality assurance capacity. Candidates are expected to have completed the Certificate in Money Advice Practice.

NCS Sessional Support Staff Roles
Summer 2018

Salford Foundation has been commissioned by the NCS Trust to deliver National Citizen Service projects across Salford and Trafford.

National Citizen Service (NCS) is an exciting initiative for 16 and 17 year olds (years 11 and 12) which builds on the governments vision of building the Big Society. The programme supports young people from all backgrounds to take on new challenges, learn new skills, meet new people and make a real difference to their local communities. NCS is a voluntary programme that runs year round. For each young person this includes a residential, skills-building opportunities and social action planning and delivery that benefits their local community.

All positions are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

NCS Summer Group Assistants - £1075 (15 day role)
