Salford BEP Enterprise

Overview

The primary focus of enterprise activity is to develop and practice enterprise skills such as communication, team work, problem solving, planning, creativity, initiative and to build confidence.  All of the enterprise activities follow a common process whereby; students are set a challenge, they work in small groups and adopt individual job roles, they then address the challenge by brainstorming, problem solving and often use their creativity to design a product.

Students will acquire a greater understanding of the world of work and its practices; develop knowledge of the skills and qualifications required to work in different industries and enhance transferable enterprising skills (communication, team work, problem solving etc) so that they are better prepared for working life.
