The Foundation manages a range of programmes that support personal development, enhance learning and engage pupils and students in work related preparation and experience - activities designed to build confidence and self esteem, improve levels of school attainment, provide pathways for progression and introduce children and young people to the world outside the classroom by encouraging their engagement in the community and their understanding of the workplace and the opportunities it presents.

The Foundation’s education business programmes currently delivered include world of work days, enterprise activities and traditional and extended work experience. All contribute to the work related learning agenda and provide opportunities for personal development of students so that they acquire skills and knowledge to equip them for the world beyond the classroom through developing an awareness of business practice, a recognition of the importance of teamwork and project management and in some programmes through the acquisition of vocational accreditation.
