Our Pathways Programme supports women aged 18+, including marginalised and vulnerable women in Salford with low level mental health needs.
Project Overview
Women are “triaged” onto the appropriate pathway for holistic support. If allocated to Positive Pathways, women are invited to an initial assessment and then enrolled onto a wellbeing-based course, as well as receiving 1-1 support sessions.
Key Project Outcomes include:
- Improved confidence & self-esteem
- Improved emotional and mental health
- Improved health & wellbeing
- Increased social & community connections
- Increased knowledge of coping skills
Referrals
We accept referrals from community partners and statutory agencies, as well as self-referrals. Our criteria include women experiencing unemployment, poverty & debt, social isolation, and low-level mental health needs. Unfortunately, we cannot accept referrals from women with high level mental health needs.
Please download the referral form and email this to womens-services@salfordfoundation.org.uk
We are currently experiencing high demand for this service so please bear with us. Thank you for your interest in our work.
Funding Partnerships
We urgently need funding to continue delivering this essential support to vulnerable women in Salford.
If you are a corporate partner exploring social value opportunities in Greater Manchester, this would be an ideal community project to support.
