Corporate partners

Let’s work together to tackle disadvantage and change lives in Salford & Greater Manchester

The work we do would not be possible without the support of over 180 different businesses. Our partnerships expand opportunities for people in Salford and Greater Manchester, allowing us to reach more and sustain vital services. While we’ve built strong, lasting relationships with incredible partners, we still need support. If you want to back a charity dedicated to changing lives, look no further.

At Salford Foundation, we partner with businesses to drive positive community change through a streamlined volunteering infrastructure. Many companies now offer time off for volunteering. We provide opportunities to support these initiatives—no qualifications needed, just a passion to help and inspire across Greater Manchester. Last year, business volunteers contributed nearly 3,200 hours.

Corporate partners play a pivotal role in helping us to achieve our mission. Through economic, social and environmental benefits delivered in our local communities, you help to influence change, support growth and sustained service delivery for children, young people and adults.

Our Strategy

Our 2025-30 Strategy is a bold commitment to tackling disadvantage and changing lives across Greater Manchester. For corporate businesses, this presents a powerful opportunity to deliver relevant and meaningful Social Value in local communities and contribute directly to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through strategic charity partnerships.

To tackle disadvantage and change lives, we set ourselves three priorities for 2025-2030:

Best Start in Life

We want to ensure children and young people have the best start in life and enter adulthood with great life chances.

We’re prioritising issues that enable this, such as good education for all; healthy relationships; work-readiness; wellbeing; and life skills.

Working Futures

We want everyone to have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and contribute to society.

We want young people to be inspired and informed for their future careers. We want adults to gain skills and receive support to work for a living wage.

We will continue to promote volunteering and alternative forms of ‘meaningful employment.’

We want everyone to secure a future that works for them.

Strong & Safe Communities

We want everyone to live in inclusive, supportive and well-resourced communities.

We believe society should be built on shared values and a commitment to the common good. We want everyone to feel safe and protected.

We want to tackle domestic abuse and coercive relationships, prevent young people being drawn into a life of crime, and help adults in the criminal justice system rebuild positive, productive lives.

Our strategy will be to strengthen our relationships and networks as we deliver more of our quality services in partnership.
