Elevate Salford

The Elevate Salford programme provides a range of services to support, train and prepare people furthest from the labour market, to gain skills, training and employment via the strong charity sector in Salford

Delivery will be undertaken by five ‘core’ charity partners: Groundwork Greater Manchester, Mustard Tree, Salford Foundation, Salford Loaves & Fishes and The Broughton Trust. Their work will be augmented by the spot-purchase of specialist provision. In addition, there will also be a small grant fund for charities and VCSE organisations that can deliver in support of this programme.

Women & Survivors

Our exciting new learning, skills and work programme is a VCSE partnership programme funded by The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation and led by Salford CVS until December 2025. The programme aims to help women  achieve their goals, develop a bespoke action plan, deliver training to develop new skills, offer volunteering opportunities, work placements and employment.

We also offer one to one practical information, advice and guidance to help unemployed women to enhance and improve their wellbeing, access local employment opportunities and improve their quality of life.

We run weekly activities for women, including a Makers Market to develop skills and test business ideas.
