The Shed

What is The Shed?

‘The Shed’ is a safe and confidential place which offers holistic support including  information, advice, advocacy, guidance, mentoring and group support for men living in Salford or men with a local connection.

Our Team aim to help men to move forward in their lives and reach their potential using professional help, volunteer and peer support and currently focuses on the following themes:

  • Welfare assistance & wellbeing
  • Learning, Skills & Work
  • Reducing re-offending & rehabilitation

We are open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm excluding Bank Holidays.

Who can join The Shed?

Adult males (18+), who fit at least one of the following criteria:

  • People on probation or with a history of offending
  • People experiencing poor mental health eg anxiety or depression
  • People needing support to move into employment, training or education
  • People experiencing loneliness or isolation
  • Salford Resident and/or connection to Salford
