Social Value Partnership

We started 35 years ago as a small charity here in Salford. Since then, we've helped tens of thousands of people to improve their lives. Our mission is to create a fair society in which everyone has the opportunities and resources to reach their full potential. We are an agile charity built to serve a changing society, and that's how together, we can tackle disadvantage and change lives. Join us now in partnership, to create and deliver more Social Value Impact in Greater Manchester.

Our Strategy

To tackle disadvantage and change lives, we set ourselves three priorities for 2025-2030: Best Start in Life, Working Futures and Strong & Safe Communities. Our strategy will be to strengthen our relationships and networks as we deliver more of our quality services in partnership.

Corporate Partners

Corporate partners play a pivotal role in helping us to achieve our mission. Through economic, social and environmental benefits delivered in our local communities, you help to influence change, support growth and sustained service delivery for children, young people and adults.

Tackling disadvantage; changing lives

Best Start in Life

We want to ensure children and young people have the best start in life and enter adulthood with great life chances.

We’re prioritising issues that enable this, such as good education for all; healthy relationships; work-readiness; wellbeing; and life skills.

Working Futures

We want everyone to have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and contribute to society.

We want young people to be inspired and informed for their future careers. We want adults to gain skills and receive support to work for a living wage.

We will continue to promote volunteering and alternative forms of ‘meaningful employment.’

We want everyone to secure a future that works for them.

Strong & Safe Communities

We want everyone to live in inclusive, supportive and well-resourced communities.

We believe society should be built on shared values and a commitment to the common good. We want everyone to feel safe and protected.

We want to tackle domestic abuse and coercive relationships. We want to prevent young people being drawn into a life of crime. We want to help adults in the criminal justice system rebuild positive, productive lives.

Social Value & Sustainable Development Goals

Our 2025-30 Strategy is a bold commitment to tackling disadvantage and changing lives across Greater Manchester. For corporate businesses, this presents a powerful opportunity to deliver relevant and meaningful Social Value in local communities and contribute directly to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through strategic charity partnerships.
